The Central government on Monday announced that 2 positive cases of novel coronavirus had been detected in India: 1 in Delhi and 1 in Telangana. This will take the total number of coronavirus cases reported in India to 5, with the 1st 3 patients being cured.
In a press statement, the government said that the coronavirus patient in Delhi had a travel history from Italy, while the patient in Telangana had traveled to Dubai. The condition of both patients was reported to be steady and both were being monitored.

In January-February, 3 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Kerala: All 3 were students who had returned from Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak. All 3 cases in Kerala were cured and subsequently discharged from the hospital.
